Our Marking and Feedback Policy

Over the years we, as a school, have been working really too hard to find the best strategies, procedures and routines so that we can provide the most beneficial feedback; we can maximise understanding and enhance learning. Without the burden of increasing teacher workload.

We have tried a multitude of coloured pens, we have tried highlighters, we attempted stickers for a while and once we even banned teachers from taking home their books! We tried to say we would mark once a day, twice a day, three times a week or not at all, but in the end the only way to create our new Marking and Feedback Policy was in collaboration with the children combined with current research.
